Where Math Makes Sense

Are fractions, decimals and percent a big challenge for your students in middle school? Maybe polynomials in Algebra are the tough subject of the moment. Or maybe students are having difficulty with simplifying radicals.

Maybe you are teaching Algebra students who struggle due to missing basic math skills which makes Algebra even more challenging.

Frustrated with a lack of step by step examples for visual learners?

Do you provide A.C.T., S.A.T. or other college prep math tutoring though find it difficult to find math materials that make sense to your students?

Perhaps you tutor students in a remedial math setting in college.

If you answered, “Yes,” then you have arrived at a destination to discover where math makes sense!

Middle School Math is Where it starts.

Middle School is where it starts.

Even before fractions, students benefit from knowing multiplication and division facts, divisibility rules, and how to list factors and multiples. Once this is accomplished, fractions may be taught with much greater ease. After students have learned divisibility rules and the ability to list factors, reducing fractions with large numbers is a breeze. I will demonstrate how to use these same concepts when factoring polynomials and simplifying radicals in Algebra!

On the other hand, you may be wondering how to successfully and easily do this. No worries. Over time I will thoroughly address each of these topics step-by-step with use of color and other strategies.

Furthermore, I will include links to specific products at my store that may provide you with more examples, guided practice and practice problems, many of which are print-and-go products.

I’ve got you covered!
